Primary capability 01

Fire suppression systems engineered around the hazard.

From a single electrical cabinet to an enclosed critical room, Kairox develops suppression solutions around the protected asset, fire scenario, occupancy and required interfaces.

Application-specific protection

The system starts with what is being protected.

Electrical

Panels & equipment enclosures

Localized clean-agent protection for switchgear, UPS systems, server racks, control cabinets, CNC/VMC equipment and similar sensitive assets.

  • Direct or indirect local application
  • No-residue agent options
  • Shutdown and alarm interfaces where required
Battery

Lithium-ion hazard solutions

Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion (AVD) and selected clean-agent solutions assessed against battery chemistry, format, enclosure and propagation risk.

  • Project-specific detection logic
  • Cooling and containment considerations
  • Evidence and application limits reviewed per solution
Kitchen

Commercial cooking protection

Wet-chemical suppression for cooking-oil and grease hazards, coordinated across appliances, hood/plenum and duct areas.

  • Automatic mechanical detection options
  • Manual release
  • Fuel or gas shutoff integration
Engine

Engines & machinery

Selected clean-agent or other suitable suppression with detection, discharge, shutdown and interlocks configured to the equipment environment.

  • Vehicles and mobile equipment
  • Generators and industrial machinery
  • HFC-227ea options where appropriate
System architecture

Local application, flooding and control strategies.

Architecture is selected around enclosure geometry, hazard characteristics, ventilation, occupancy, continuity needs and governing requirements.

Direct local application

A pressurised heat-sensing tube detects the event and discharges agent close to the activation point. The basic pneumatic path can operate without external electrical power.

Indirect local application

A separate detection network initiates discharge through dedicated pipework and engineered nozzles, supporting wider distribution and control interfaces.

Total flooding

An engineered agent concentration protects a defined enclosed volume, with detection, controls, room integrity, egress and ventilation considered together.

Micro-flooding

Compact flooding protection for smaller enclosed volumes, with electrical detection and suitable mechanical or thermal backup options.

Detection, controls & components

A suppression system is more than a cylinder.

Detect & decide

Pneumatic heat-sensing tube, linear heat-sensing cable, thermal sensors, smoke or heat detectors and multi-zone suppression control units.

Actuate & discharge

Valves, electrical or pneumatic actuators, pipework, application-specific nozzles, hoses and fittings selected through an engineered design.

Monitor & interface

Pressure gauges and switches, alarms, manual release, abort stations, shutdown relays and gas-isolation valves as applicable.

Agent selection

Matched to the fire scenario and protected asset.

Clean agents

FK-5-1-12, HFC-227ea or another selected agent may be considered for sensitive electrical, enclosure, engine or room hazards, subject to the final design.

Wet chemical

Designed for commercial cooking oil and grease hazards with coordinated appliance, hood, plenum and duct coverage.

AVD

Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion may be selected for certain lithium-ion battery applications after evaluating battery format, test evidence and application limits.

CO₂ & dry chemical

Considered only where the hazard, residue tolerance, occupancy and life-safety controls make the selected technology appropriate.

Before you decide

Final system selection and specifications are confirmed only after reviewing the application, site conditions and manufacturer documentation.
